Short Nasdaq. As for the power company,too many uncertainties. Wouldn't be either for it or against it. Alternative energy tends to be more economically marginal which is why it hasn't overtaken environmentally hostile practices. On the other hand, there may be a big push with government subsidies and tax breaks for alternative energy. There may also be issues where if the next adm...

I know that building infrastructure was a lot of what government did in the last depression. There wasn't the same government debt situation though. I'd wait for the market to bottom out a bit more to go long on infrastructure. I do see it as a good medium to long term bet.

I see the Dow at 7000 by Christmas and 6000 by March 1, 2009. The derailment only just started, it is going to get much worse.
