You Tube is really just a content aggregator and according to the current law (based on my extremely limited legal knowledge), they are not liable for content posted by members. However, this law will be challenged and its hard to say what the outcome will be. Social Networking is taking off (duh, were all here in SocialPicks.com) and if Google loses this suit the ramifications could be very negative for the people that generate the content and a real headache for the companies running these user-generated content sites. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Google to win!
