Still is a great long term short.

Dudes and dudesses, when are people going to stop even thinking or dreaming that FNM is worth ANYTHING. Yes, I said it, its WORTHLESS. The stock should be trading at ZERO. The Fed says they need FNM and FRE, great. Wonderful. The Fed has proven they don't care about stock prices. FNM and FRE can serve a purpose and trade at 1 penny! FNM and FRE have TRILLIONS in BAD debt. How are they covering that? The Fed will have to bail them out, and the stocks will be trading at nearly zero, or be gone forever. FNM still is a great long term short. It's done, fini, people have to stop praying and start looking at reality.

This may work out but as loneranger said the government connection makes a short even for a company of this low quality extremely dicey

what is funny is that i was listening to apr on public radio a little over a year ago (maybe longer) and they were discussing how fnm and fre were going to fail. funny that apr or the obama press was right about what was going to happen but he was still elected
