Not sure we want them to have an exit strategy. They were bailed out because they were reckless, remember? I'm against the free gifts to business strategy that the government used during the savings and loan scandal.

Also having a stake puts someone in a position to put the brakes on stupidity. Whether or not the government will use that pull remains to be seen.
