They all follow SPY

Heres a simple method I use for to gauge where a stock will go using SPY . SPY is the bandleader with more volume 2-3x than any other stock (except for C on friday which crossed the 1 billion mark) and where SPY goes the market mimics its chart. If you cant pull up 2 charts or more at the same time print out the SPY chart from any day and compare it to any other stock on that day, (except the real cheapies) and youll see what Ive been seeing,: It doesnt matter what sector your stock's in, its is following the bandleader:SPY.
CME is an exception at times as its a commodity driven. So always keep 1 eye on SPY to find out what your stock will do next.

the SPY is the market captain, and to be technical the spy follows the market because it is tradeable it moves right after the market moves

I disagree with that statement. When the whole market moves at once to the same heartbeat SPY's. How else would as diverse products as Clorox,CLX...Tiffanys,TIF and Exxon XOM move together? They all follow SPY, your wrong my friend, SPY doesnt follow the market, look at the charts like I suggested and you'll find a new way of looking at this monolithic bear recession market looking for guidance.

I forgot to add this axiom includes QQQQ and DIA, there are no independant personalities in this market. Just followers of SPY.

SPY is not a stock it IS the market it is an etf that mimics the S&P 500 so obviously it is the average performance of all stock in the index
