The Oilfield Services segment also offers various services that are used to maintain production throughout the life of a well; well completion services and equipment; artificial lift; data and consulting services; and information solutions, including consulting, software, information management, and IT infrastructure products and services that support core oil and gas industry operational processes. The WesternGeco segment provides reservoir imaging, monitoring, and development services, as well as operates seismic crews and data processing centers and multi-client seismic library. This segment’s services range from 3D and time-lapse (4D) seismic surveys to multi-component surveys for delineating prospects and reservoir management. The company was founded in 1927 and is based in Houston, Texas.
