This stock is a hunch on its own if they can be a piece to the big picture.
I believe now that oil is falling, I made a call in June on all hedge funds for my own reasons on USO, UGA, UHN alike. I did look for some operating service companies which had good performance prior to the oil boom of 2001 and show a tightening of the belt through it. Such like USAK showed good trend of slight slop off of price due to operation cost from OIL prices. Now oil backing off companies which did not drop off share values or followed the OIL trend.
My outlook,
All stocks down, the bottom will not be an over night hit then up, This will come in stages.
This Summer
Services Stocks gain profits due to less oil operating costs.
Technology is a hold but can see some increase for demand.
This Fall
OIL slight bump up, Stocks from Summer a Hold.
Sales goods Stocks up due to school, holidays which could reflect demand per product types.
Winter
winter oil a hold will decline as spring rolls in.
Now if financials pull the losses in investing in OIL back onto actual good operating companies from Summer, Fall, Winter may have a chance to build decent capitol.
Spring
This is where we have to see if the Financials can invests and can better investment capitols to insure another boost in faith for home market ownership. If so then such demand for building materials, sales for building materials from LOW, HD and such may have climbed some by holiday sales from the fall winter, but real record profits were from the build boom, That big boom may not be seen again since so much surplus of unowned homes are still unoccupied.
In the beginning of 2009 watch for any ACTUAL products which come to MASS Production market which can run not on oil based energy. Energy stocks will see a slight fall in 2008 just after the OIL price falls do to it being an energy stock, but the demand for alternate energy other then OIL which can produce an actual mass produced product will be a big gold rush if the residential consumer can go down to the local store to buy them and install them come this 2009 winter into spring.
