Fundamental Analysis  

SQM is a world player in the agricultural chemical industry but actually have a foot in myriad chemical applications. For example they manufacture iodine for medical and pharmaceutical applications.

In addition POTASH corp of Canada own 30% of SQM after unsuccessfully trying to acquire them last year. It's hard to believe that SQM will be able to keep buyers at bay for much longer.
