The following three stocks experienced gains exceeding 20% in just the last five days, including: EcoloCap Solutions (OTCBB: ECOS), Global Green Solutions (OTCBB: GGRN), and Carbon Conscious (Australia: CCF). Overall, the 17-stock index experienced an average gain of 2.4% on an equally-weighted basis over the past five days versus an increase of 1% in carbon prices as tracked by the iPath Global Carbon ETN (NYSE: GRN). Energy commodities declined during this period, illustrated by a 5% loss in the US Natural Gas Fund (AMEX: UNG) and a 0.4% loss in the US Oil Fund (AMEX: USO). Other notable gainers over the past five days include Climate Exchange +9% (London: CLE), EcoSecurities Group +16.2% (London: ECO), and Camco +8.5% (London: CAO). Companies losing over 10% of their value include ERA Carbon Offsets -10.9% (Toronto: ESR), Green Invest -16.8% (Australia: GNV), and CO2 Group -10.2% (Australia: COZ).
