It's virtually impossible for airlines to succeed amid such high fuel prices. However, there's one airline play: GOL. GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes will see upside as it takes up the slack from Varig, Brazil's largest airline, which is "tearing itself apart."

Jim believes Varig will scale back its operations to cut back loss, and GOL will benefit from this.
