PERF Go Green (OTC:PGOG) develops and markets environmentally friendly and non-toxic biodegradable plastic products. The Company's products are made using recycled plastics which are designed to biodegrade within 1-2 years with no toxic or visible remnants, as compared to traditional plastics which take hundreds of years to decompose. The following is a link to the PGOG page at StockMediaBuzz.com with research reports, articles, videos, and audio interviews: http://www.stockmediabuzz.com/PGOG.php

The audio interview is with COO Michael Caridi describing the Company's battery recycling initiative, 100% biodegradable plastic bags, and all purpose green cleaning supplies that are distributed in over 70,000 retail locations. The first YouTube video is a 30 second clip describing the environmental benefit of the Company's biodegradable plastic bags while the second video is a three minute film which documents the harmful effects of traditional plastic waste.

Last year, PGOG began marketing nine products in major plastic disposable categories, including a variety of household and commercial trash bags, kitty litter liner bags, doggie duty bags, and drop cloths. The products began selling during 3Q09 at prominent online and traditional retailers such as Amazon.com (AMZN), Drugstore.com (DSCM), Walgreen (WAG), OfficeMax (OMX), and CVS Caremark (CVS) - in addition to a 500-store distribution agreement for 13 and 30-gallon trash bags at Wal-Mart (WMT) and numerous deals with independent retailers/distributors such as True Value.

On March 24, PGOG announced the availability of PerfPower alkaline batteries, Perf Go Green biodegradable doggie duty bags, and cat pan liners at online retailer Drugstore.com. The batteries contain no lead, mercury, or cadmium and are manufactured and packaged with recycled materials. PGOG invites consumers to recycle the used packaging and batteries at the Company's free recycling initiative at http://www.i-recycled.com/ .

Beginning on 5/1/09, PGOG will begin distributing a line-up of all natural and sustainable household cleaning products under the Perf Go Clean brand, including (1) Total Bathroom, Glass, and Multi-Purpose Cleaner, (2) Fresh and Clean Air, and (3) Stain and Odor Remover - which are all hypoallergenic, readily biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flammable, and not tested on animals. Perf Go Clean bio-based products provide total ingredient disclosure and do not contain ozone depleting substances, synthetics, petroleum distillates, glycol ethers, or phosphates.

Per Go Green is made from an oxy-degradable plastic. As a rule, they do not break down further than small pieces and not into humus like a good biodegradable should.Typically, they do leave heavy metals behind after breaking down. I believe they use EPI technology and they have been cited for the heavy metals in Australia. I am surprised that Wal-Mart is doing anything with them as most of their buyers are anti-oxy technology and only support plastics that are compostable in 180 days or less (ASTM 6400).
