Nortel has taken a beating. This company, among the most widely held in Canada, has a solid franchise at the core, a sizeable R & D budget and a new and strong management team. They recently reverse split the stock 1:10 to get it back into institutional buy range. They are in a challenging business, but I believe they are positioning themselves for a strong rebound. Buy and hold.
