Right now they have 2 major market segment: broadband, and cellular.
In the cellular business, their ultra-low cost phone plan has great potential. By using CMOS to integrate BB+RF into one chip, the cost of making a phone will be much lower. They estimate 50% reduction in BOM.
Even right now the major market is probably 2nd tier(I would imagine a small sacrifice in RF performance due to the use of CMOS instead of other traditional semiconductor materials), the technology is the latest and they definitely have an advantage over other companies. Best of all, its price has been staying at current level for quite some time. Once the upward trend starts, it can last very long.
