Garmin's consumer products are sold through independent dealers and distributors, and panel-mount aviation products are sold through distributors worldwide. The company was founded in 1990 and is based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands with additional offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
