Altair Nanotechnologies trails A123Systems in both the development of battery packs and sales efforts.
However electric cars are poised to gain momementum through 2008, and ALTI's relationships with Phoenix Motor Cars and The Lightning Car Company should generate enough positive press to power the stock into the high 3's.  I expect the stock to bounce off of Friday's close at 3.34.  Anything below 3.40 is a buy, and 3.70 is likely before the end of the year.
