Solar play that isn't trading at PE 100+

Analyst

Emcore makes among other things solar cells. Quote from website:

"These advanced solar cells have also been adapted for use in terrestrial concentrator applications and have attained conversion efficiencies in excess of 36%." 

current efficiencies: 

typical solar panels (i.e. Sunpower)  12-19%

thin film  9%   

They are currently trading at a PE between 9-10 which compared to other solar plays is extremely reasonable. They have been making solar cells for satellites but realized that the current terrestrial solar industry could be a great market to get into (yeah, a little late). Anyways, they already have an establish list of contacts from their relationships with NASA and other satellite commissioners, as well as other contacts from their other businesses. Also, because the chips are smaller and more efficient, they are less affected by polysilicon supply problems. It has not been very well covered and it seems to be a great solar play if you are a little leery of the skyrocketing prices of other solar companies.

Got a few good things going for it:
1. Easy math when you buy @ $1.00
2. Great new tech in Solar plus a thriving Fiber optics division
3. The fourth quarter losses are investments in the future of the Solar division which will show in the coming year
