Equity REsidential is mostly in the apartment leasing business. For the past year construction of aprtments has surge. It has finally fallen to the way side. We all know home builders are shutting down.
People may not be buying, buy they are not dead. Back when I was younger a person would graduate from college and live in an apartment with a roommate for 2 years, then buy a house. We may have forgetten them times with bar tenders, finacial clerks, school teachers, and every other form of non-professional buying a house at the age of 22. Those days have died and the good ole days are back.
Earnings are rising fast in the aprtment rental business. Dividends are rising with these REITs. The stocks have been beaten down. But the nife has stopped falling. Time to buy.
