With the sub-prime melt-down, ADSK took a bit of a hit. Luckily, they also reported strong earnings...as they did the quarter before, and the one before that, and the one before that, etc., etc. So why the volatility for such a strong performer? I believe it's because people don't understand just how well-run this company is and has been for the last few years. They have diversified through acquisitions. They have filled out offerings in industries beyond architecture such as manufacturing, engineering and 3D modeling. They have focused new efforts at emerging global markets. They're poised to capitalize on the green building boom. In just a couple years, they've crossed the $1B in sales threshold and are now looking at $2B...no small feat. I believe this stock will continue to be a good buy and think that $65-$70 is not out of the question.
