AECOM is an IPO, coming onto the market in May (if I remember correctly) and is actually a collection of marvelous engineering firms that deal with environmental concerns and infrastructure rebuilding. As a chemical engineer, I have worked with some of the firms that are included in AECOM world and they are good at what they do. Recent contracts they have received from China as well as here in the US, and their recent purchase of a Canadian Environmental Company bode well for their earnings. Additionally, they do work in some interesting places at the behest of the US Gov't for foreign Gov'ts as an international relations vehicle for which they are well paid (it ain't charity for sure!) The leadership of this company also includes some former high flyers in Gov't service with excellent connections. I'm guessing but this could be a more public kind of Bechtel.
