AsiaInfo Holdings is a microcap technology stock. They make money in three ways: selling software and solutions, service contracts, and third-party hardware. The first is by far, the largest part of their revenues. The final segment, hardware sales is small and diminishing, as ASIA's customers increasingly are going straight to the manufacturer for these things. They are the backbone of the Chinese telecom and have contracts with major players like China Mobile nad China Unicom. They are also involved in joint ventures with notable companies such as Siemens, Lenovo, Nokia, and Oracle. There is scant analyst coverage of the company, but those few individuals covering it rate it a buy.
