Check the anti-virus software that you're using right now. It probably either Norton or McAfee. Symantec took a beating... sounds like a buying opportunity to me. Remember that everyone's been holding off on their PC purchases b/c of the Vista. And for those who will be upgrading... you'll need a new copy of this anti-virus software. Institutions and home. It's a nice play on technology upgrade.
I also realize that many consumers, especially college students and hs students, use pirated version of the software. With the technology moves forward, internet access is become a standard in our homes. This means software companies will likely require an online registration. It's hard to side step that.
