With all of these credit derivative losses and so called "sub-prime or alt-A" write-offs I doubt the government can restrain itself and lets these people get wiped out.  If the the insurers get wiped out then we will see more losses across the whole sector.  My money is on bailout, the Fed has practically bailed all the big investment banks that pushed these toxic loans so why stop now?
