The stock looks depressed now but has the ability to get back on track depending on several factors - customer service, bundled services, competing services. HD will be the one feature that separates cable from telcos . AT&T & Verizon can't pull off the trifecta if they lack in superior HD output on ALL TV SETS in the house - not one. And VOD will still be increasing (I'm biased on this since I'm involved in the programming of one of the channels).
Regarding Internet services - the much talked about wideband will blow away current speeds of broadband use. This will make video streaming and downloading smoother and increase Internet viewing.
