
Let me begin saying that I can both day-trade and long-term invest. I do not like short-selling stock because I am bad at it.
I will try to present to you my medium and long-term plays on this site. Although in the past I have done both my favorites for trades and long-term investments, the present and the future hold in store only my medium to long-term plays.
An "economy" is anything that's exchanged. Think of it like a plant that exchanges with the environment for food, etc. The more it exchanges, the "better" the economy.
The best investments are the ones that happen over a long period of time. The flip-side is you do not have access to profits for a long period of time, if you are fortunate enough to have them at all. If you are seeking immediate gratification from your investments, you cannot be an investor but must be a stock trader.

There will always be people out there who do not take it seriously or simply do not know what they are doing. There will always be people out there looking to manipulate you and the market in anyway possible to their advantage and will do it in the worst ways if they can.
