BAC won't buy this stock, and it will be subject to something like Bear Stearns had happen over a weekend....just wait for one weekend in July and you'll be waking up to that type of "Fed brokered takeover/bailout" news.

That's a great question. One of the underlying questions for all financials is "Has all the short money been made?" I don't think so. Bank of America would be a good short until August. I think DB is, frankly, wrong on this subject. LEH simply was overleveraged, especially with their Aurora Loan Services loan origination 2-4 years ago, in doing No income, asset, employment loans, etc. They also, for a short time, were the only ones (aside from MILA who's now defunct) doing 80/20's down to a 560 FICO...about 2 1/2 years ago, I believe.
