Via StocksandBlogs.Com:
Omniture (OMTR) is a stock I have often written about and always as a bull. The recent pull back to the $23 level is yet another chance to buy this stock on the cheap. One of the biggest advantages the company has is that it uses its own storage and servers to track user behavior. So they store all the transactions and clicks on their servers, information which can enable them to improve their client's site performance and usability. Moreover, they hardly have any competition in the space (particularly after they bought out their biggest rivals Visual Sciences last year). Additionally, they have branched out into online campaign management and improvement software, which complements their web analytics capabilities. One final note – I think OMTR are a potential candidate for a buyout from Microsoft or Oracle, since both software powerhouses lack presence in online campaign management and web analytics space. -- Faisal Laljee Full Disclosure: I own OMTR but my position can change anytime without notice.
