Southwest Securities is also involved in fixed income underwriting, sales and trading activities, public finance, and corporate finance. Southwest Securities FSB is SWS Group’s Arlington, Texas federal savings bank. They offer an assortment of financial products, including interim construction loans, commercial loans, single-family permanent loans, and mortgage-company purchase facilities. They also offer a complete suite of consumer banking services. They have branches throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This subsidiary recently opened a new full service-banking center in Waxahachie, Texas. Another subsidiary, SWS Financial Services, Inc. is a registered NASD broker/dealer. They contract with individual registered representatives for the administration of their securities business. They are a clearing correspondent of Southwest Securities and serve more than 300 independent registered representatives and their customers in the U.S. SWS Group’s, Southwest Insurance Agency subsidiary handles the sale of insurance and annuities for Southwest Securities and their correspondents. They serve over 400 licensed agents. These agents offer life, disability income, and long-term care insurance, along with annuity products. SWS Group Inc. continues to provide investment and financial services to their diverse clientele. They also continue to provide value to their shareholder base. The company ended fiscal 2007 with $471 million in revenues. As one of the 200 largest companies headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, SWS Group continues to offer competitive financial products and services to drive future growth.
