Microsoft (MSFT) tomorrow is expected to announced a deal with British Sky Broadcasting (BSY) to show selected Sky TV programs over the Xbox Live service in the U.K., including Premier League football soccer games, according to Times Online.

roarAccording to the Times, the package will likely be offered free to subscribers to Sky’s high-end service packages, while operating on a pay-per-view basis for non-Sky customers.

The story notes that Xbox 360 is the only one of the three main game consoles that do not offer access to the BBC’s iPlayer service, which allows viewing of TV and radio programs for up to seven days after broadcast.
