Graphic_arrow1 Via Short Stock Ideas from Seeking Alpha:

Unlike airline stocks, manufactures and suppliers to the aviation industry have not been amongst the most popular stocks with short sellers. This partly reflects longer order lead times, but also the more diversified range of market serviced by these companies. The index of short interest, shows a rising trend until early August and is now in decline.

Of the 9 stocks shown here, Spirit (SPR), Be Aerospace (BEAV) and Rolls Royce (RYCEY.PK) are three which still show a rising short base. Most are now falling and Transdigm group (TDG) in particular has a seen a sharp decline. Textron (TXT) has also seen its short base peak and decline by about 20%.
