QLogic (QLGC) this afternoon posted revenue for its fiscal second quarter ended September 27 of $131.5 million, down from $171.2 million a year ago, but up 7% sequentially and above the Street at $125.7 million. Per-share non-GAAP profits of 21 cents a share beat the Street by three cents.

In late trading, QLGC is down 13 cents, or 0.7%, to $17.95.
