Raser Technologies (NYSE: RZ) is due to fire up a Utah facility next month, and Ormat has been given the go-ahead to construct a 49.5 megawatt plant in Nevada for Canadian partner Nevada Geothermal. The fact that the latter company, a microcap, was able to secure $180 million to finance construction in the midst of a brutal credit market speaks volumes about the viability of geothermal today. 40 mil new share buy back 08/28/08
With only 33 million shares out there, this could represent around 5%. Very solid company growing, very little debt, management see this as a prudent move for them and to increase share holder value. I don't expect this to stay under 10 for too long. So i recently took a long position and expect that in future it tests previous highs. It previously bought 40 mil share buy back much higher, ...
