These guys might have a small stock price, but the airline is legit. As credit markets take a breather for the next 2 months, assuming mortgage insurers stay solvent for that long, deep value stocks like this one should recover nicely. AAI is in competition with Southwest for the lowest-cost airline in the USA. Southwest has a big advantage due to oil hedging strategies of the past, but this should keep AAI all the leaner, such that when oil price doesn't matter so much, AAI has a shot at being top dog in the US.

This is a high leverage, high risk call. But if oil hits double digits again in the next few months, AAI should be a nice performer while the summer vacations are still going on.
