I love AAPL... great stuff.  But I feel poor, so I'm happy with the iPhone and macBook I bought last year, and I can wait til things look a little more secure for me to go back to buying big ticket items.  I'd rather make sure I can pay rent than have the latest new iPhone, when I just bought the latest one last year.

There is no dispute that Apple makes superb products.They have elegant designs and are very user friendly.

Why am I shorting?
The high margins of 50% is unlikely to be sustained.This is because the main markets of Apple like the US and Europe are going to slow down.As much as everyone would love to have an Mac it would not be affordable.The growth market for any company going forward is Asia.Asia is highly price sensitive and this would be a disadvantage for Apple.The price discount being offered is being subsidized by the carriers.This would mean plans which have sky high price t...
