These Homeland Security stocks have been going up.  This stock looks like a great break out opportunity.  There has been huge accumulation days over the past 6 months.  The last B.O. went from 38 to 48 in 3 days... then the typical snap back because the move was to fast.  This latest move will need to go slower to be able to be maintained but either way it is going up.  A $62 dollar sellout will catch you about 30% from these levels... not bad for this bear market!  My stop is at $44 going up $.75 every week as as trailing stop. The saga is finally over... after putting itself up for sale Axsys Technologies (AXYS) has sold itself to General Dynamics (GD) for $54. Defense contractor General Dynamics Corp Inc (GD - News) said on Thursday that it planned to buy Axsys Technologies Inc (AXYS - News), a maker of surveillance and imaging systems, for $643 million. Axsys shares rose 6 percent in morning trading to $53, below the offer price of $54. Despite an excellent story [Dec 5, 2008: An Outperfomer in Defense: Axsys Technologies] [Dec 12, 2008: Time to Buy Axsys Technologies?], solid results [Feb 18: Axsys Technologies Solid Quarter] and compelling valuation the stock has been obliterated.
