In a follow-up to my article,<!----> A True China Bear, I recommend investors to set their sights on China since there may be tremendous upside in the emerging economy. The Shanghai Composite Index (000001.SS) has fallen to 2868 from a high of 6124, a drop of over 50%. The drop below 2900 marks a new 52-week low.

For the long-term, I’ve written that China may follow and overtake the performance of the Hang Seng Index (HSI).

I believe the pullback is mostly finished with a double bottom. I expect A-share index to rise to 8000-10000 in the next few years. CAF is a tracking ETF for Chinese A-share market.

Little known closed-end funds can do a lot for you.  And when you choose such entities properly you are almost guaranteed to come out a winner.  My favorites pertaining to China are for the time being:  CAF, CHN, GCH, all of which are part of this portfolio.  Excellent dividends & spectacular capital gains  make these babies the jewels of this portfolio.

Although it went down almost 10% yesterday, I believe this is a great opportunity to buy! I am 99% sure this is a correction, not a reversal of trend, Chinese stock market still have tremendous strength and pressure to go up, this trend will not reverse until at least early 2009. I believe seeing SSE at 6000-8000 pt range is not impossible, CAF is a ETF, the only ETF tracking the Chinese A-Share market, which is the best to invest in. This is a great opportunity to get the shares cheap! CAF is a strong buy!
