Purchasing CDE while the current correction in the precious metals markets are under way should work out well over the next few weeks or so.  Coeur closed at $3.88 on March 24th. Buying or adding to positions below $4.00 is recommended.

As one of the lowest cost silver producers in the world buying and holding Coeur for the long term should work out extremely well. However, for those looking to make a quick 20% to 25 % could consider buying CDE at below $4.00 and selling into it's recent upper range of $5.00 to $5.16. 

Beautiful correction on this silver play... P/E is cheap for the EPS growth.

With recent acquisitions Coeur has quietly transformed itself into the world's lowest cost silver producer.  The acquisitions have made Coeur a major player as a silver producer as additional production comes on stream in 2008 and 2009 , and beyond. 

The current correction in silver prices has brought about a substantial correction in Coeur. I would use this correction to buy Coeur in the $4.00 to $4.50 a share range.   

In my opinion, the market has not yet recognized the changes in Coeur's status into a major low cost silver producer.

Coeur d'Alene Mines (CDE) is one story that I continue to believe in during these perilous times. This company is hitting full stride at the ideal time, as inflation rears its ugly head in the US and UK to an unprecedented degree likely starting sometime in 2010. 70s style inflation is a pipe dream; if you don't buy that, well, I guess all I have to say is "have fun watching your savings melt away before your eyes."

Coeur d'Alene Mines (CDE) is a US-based mining company focused on silver. The company operates three silver mines (USA, Argentina, and Bolivia) and receives silver output from two lead-zinc mines in Australia. As anyone who owns miners knows…it has been brutal.

One of my long time favorites, has been CDE. I bought CDE myself after studying the San Bartolome asset.
