Cepheid is best known for its GeneXpert molecular testing system. I give CPHD a short term buy rating due to the recent occurrences of MRSA. GeneXpert is used to test for MRSA in hospitals and Cepheid owns exclusive rights to that test which has been experiencing increasing demand.
