High end cars not the place to be, little benefit from Toyota collapse DAI

+1.26% in 6 days Mercedes has both BMW and VW as competitors in it's homeland, plus everyone from Ford to Tata as competitors elsewhere. Toyota's recent collapse from bad recall news is not going to get much worse, and Daimler really isn't the right company to benefit from this problem anyway. Daimler must continue to sell high-margin cars to thristy wanna-be-rich Americans and Europeans. I think that's a dying breed. In 5 years, it probably won't even be cool to own a Benz, better off finding a cool cheap car to own. Plus, selling Daimler gives you an option into electric and NG cars of the future...
