Quest is a solid company with a stock value that doesn't match its potential... Besides recently going international in India... Quest has time and time again beaten predicted earning marks... recently reporting a 14% higher earnings report then predicted... Unless people plan on not having babies and doctors decide lab testing is obsolete... this company will grow and continue on its upward path...

Quest Diagnostics: Pull-back is Buy opportunity
Filed under: Products and services, Recession The nation is on the cusp of historic and civilization-advancing change with the upcoming health care reform bill, and that change bodes well for Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX), which is why I'm reiterating my Buy rating for the company, first recommended on June 25, 2009, at a price of $55.89. <>Quest's positive story remains the same: diagnostic tests are at the core of health care services, and even though the number of tests per citizen will likely decline in the years ahead, when one adds 30-45 million more citizens regularly accessing health ca>...

Health Care has been a controversial topic for US investors. Reforms to Medicare and regulations on private insurers will likely have an industry altering effect. There have certainly been some land mines to dodge when investing in this sector, but profitable positions have also been available. Take for instance Amedisys Inc. (AMED) which is up about 33% since the stock was recommended in here in April. Amedisys is positioned to actually save Medicare costs and investors are bidding the stock higher in anticipation of the strength. <form><input /><input /><input /><input /><input />...

We’ve had quite a spring rally in the last two months. It’s hard to believe that the S&P 500 has rallied as much as 40% since the panic levels in March, and many individual issues have given investors chances to double or triple their money in just a few short weeks. We are now beginning to hear whispers of economic recovery and new bull markets. (Actually, by definition, this latest rally constitutes a bull market because it exceeds a 20% gain - but don’t try to explain that to investors who are still 41% below the October 2007 high). <form>Other Articles of Interest <><><> Obama’s Bu>>>< /><><><>>>>< /><><><>>>>< /><><><>>>><><><>><>><>><>><>><>><>><>>><><>>><>><><>>><>><><>>><><><>< />>>><>><>><><>><>><>>><><>><>>><><><>< />>>><>><>><><>><>>><><>><>>><><><>< />>>><>><><>><>>><><>><>>><>><><>><>>><><>< />><>><><>>< />>><><><>>< />>><>< />><><>< />><>< />>>< />>...

Analyst upgrades, downgrades and initiations: TASR, M, FDO, NVDA, DGX ...
Analyst upgrades: <> Merriman upgraded Taser (NASDAQ: TASR) to Buy from Neutral as it believes current valuation levels do not reflect the company's market opportunities and that the law enforcement funding in President Obama's stimulus plan will boost sales in Q4 and FY10. Goldman upgraded Macy's (NYSE: M) to Buy from Neutral and added shares to its Conviction Buy List based on reduced balance sheet concerns and improved risk/reward. The firm also raised their target to $8.25 from $8. <>JP Morgan upgraded Family Dollar (NYSE: FDO) to Neutral from Underweight and raised its target to >>...
