DIS has posted earnings of $0.63 EPS, although excluding  gains its EPS increased 29% to $0.63 for the quarter.  It also posted $10.452 Billion in quarterly revenues.  First Call had estimates at $0.52 EPS and $10.04 Billion in revenues.

Hannah Montana and High School Musical  also bought a more than a lot of Disney stock.  During the first quarter of fiscal 2008, it repurchased some 31 million shares for $1.0 billion.
