I've been short Gigamedia (GIGM) for most of the year. At some point I new the tide would change. I only wish I felt that way later than I did so when I entered the position, I would not have been so far negative. Gigiamedi (GIGM) is testing lows not seen since March. My patience is being rewarded as Gigamedia (GIGM) heads for the low 12's. It is my hope it falls below 10. I'll be sure to cover then.

I was expecting Gigamedia Ltd (GIGM) to punch through current level resistance by now. I now wonder if it it would be better to sell than hold. So, to protect my profits, I sold the balance of my position today. I can always buy it back if it continues to rally, possibly on a pull back if it gaps open Monday. I don't expect that to happen though. Time will tell if this was a prudent decision or not.

Rockets scientists abound! Its clearly a bull market as the Dow Industrials continue setting new highs. Pre-market enthusiasm pushes Gigamedia Ltd (GIGM) up 40 plus cents over yesterday's close to former resistance around 10.60. Volume is above average and most of my indicators are bullish. Gigamedia may soon end its consolidation from last September and test its former high at 12.55. Hey, I just may make some money on this position yet! Stay tuned!

Gigamedia Ltd (GIGM) has made an impressive come back in the past week. So much so, that my position is profitable again. I sold half my position for a small profit early in the day. I may buy that portion back if it dips more. Trading may cool a bit as the recent rally consolidates.

been watching this one for a little while and now taking a shot with this very volatile stock when its down a bunch (-4%+ this morning) Excellent earnings revisions up on this name... Estimates are for $0.41 in 2007 but momentum is so strong, I bet that eventually gets revised up to $0.50... if right, that is a 22x P/E on 2007.. They own some intertesting online gaming properties for Far East and EverestPoker.. which is a European focused poker site growing very quickly... technically, beautiful base formed from May to September 7th where it broke out..... it chopped up for a few ...
