It'll take GM about another year to re-tool there production planets. We won't see any alternative fuel car in the works from these guys for at least another year. That's a long time to weather the storm. Lets just hope they don't go bankrupt.

I've never liked GM's pdts, quality and all. Their big boondoggle was GRINDING UP all the EV-1s. That should have been the starting point, but........what can I say. Now a short sale might be good. or just stay away.

Its hard to image GM stock trading at 30 a share 6 months ago. Ford? What would Chrysler be at right now? I think the company is too big to ever go completely belly up anytime soon. However its going to be a painful ride until the Dow gets back to 13,000
