Although IAGs balance sheets look quite healthy, the stock has been floundering.

Seems undeservedly undervalued, hence a buy... if there's one thing that ain't losing value...it's gold.

Stock up when cheap !

"My indicators suggest the next leg down in the dollar and the next leg up in gold has begun," says Larry Edelson. In Real Wealth he eyes a new buy idea -- IamGold (NYSE: IAM).

"The financial crisis may have passed in the private sector — but only to soon re-emerge in the public sector as Washington begins to drown in a nightmare of unpayable debts.

So while inflation is not yet obvious to everyone, what is becoming abundantly obvious is that Washington is brok beyond repair. This is why the dollar is falling.

Yesterday I took a look at silver and the silver ETF (SLV). It's up 2.2% at around $12.13. Then I looked at Pan American Silver (PAAS) and at the same moment it's up over 6% at $16.18. Silver Standard (SSRI) is up 4.5%.

Some of my favorite gold miners are having a good day too. GLD is up six-tenths of one percent (.6%). Goldcorp (GG) is up 2% at the same moment. IAM Gold (IAG) is up almost 5% ahead of earnings. Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM) is up over 2% right now.
