IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (ICE) ICE has been dealing with a support/resistance level in the $90 area going back to August. It is worth watching for a definitive move in either direction. If the stock can't hold above the $90 level, I'll consider a Dec bearish call spread selling the 100's and buying the 105's. On a break above that level a Dec 80/75 bullish put spread might be attractive. In either event a credit in the $1 range could offer a potential 25% return on risk

CME NXM ICE pretty much match each other as oil drops ICE is the smallest value jumping inversly the greatest amount to the OIL Trend.

Call fall when heating oil will kick a little bit back up in winter but fall in spring THESE three may fall just before winter again, but raise on the oil fall for spring. The summer is to far away to see. Lets just get through the fall/winter first.

Such Stock like USO and UNG and others are tide by futures data to ICE. Try Google Finance search for "ICE USO UNG HES" try other gas types alike, I used HES as a marker to the three.

The accompanying chart [click to enlarge] includes an 11-month analysis of Central Appalachian Coal Futures (NYMEX: QL), Market Vectors Coal ETF (KOL), U.S. Oil Fund (USO), U.S. Natural Gas Fund (UNG), and S&P 500 (SPY).

The prices for coal futures from other areas of the world were excluded in the chart analysis to avoid congestion from too many data points and since the correlation is high (around 95%) to QL. An 11-month analysis was chosen since KOL began trading in mid-January of this year and the chart was constructed using the daily closing price for each element.
