We are adding to our negative positions into any strength. The Fertilizer sector is clearly broken - in our view and our medium and longer term signals are increasingly negative. We think that IPI will see the $30's sooner than later. Get full details at Supertradetimer.com and check out our free 2 week trial.

all potash fundementals that pushed the share value up has changed. All potash stocks will tade at 2005 prices, as demand for them was only pushed up by ethanol production. Now due to world food shortage caused primarily bu biofuel policy , ethanol will be made from cellulous materials, and not food in the short distance future.

IPI, like POT is in the business of making agricultural chemicals, which happen to be in very high world wide demand. It is a new company (IPO'd this year), so its about as cheap as it will ever be until the demand curve lessens. Given POT's wild price appreciation, its only a matter of time until IPI follows suit. Look for this to reach $150 within 12 months.

Last week I mentioned Walters industries. The stock was in the low 70’s/high 60’s at that time. Today, the stock broke out on huge volume of over 5 Million shares. WLT closed out at 81.58 up 8.65 on the day. The stock has been on fire for the past year. I’m not one to chase a breakout but I think this might be an exception. Other stocks that look ready to run higher: United States Steel (X) - New 52 week high today. Volume however was unimpressive. Potash ( POT) - Stock resuming uptrend after very brief pause. <>Intrepid Potash (IPI) - I took small position today. I ><>>...

Potash Wins this Week (POT, MOS, IPI)
This week the bet to place was on the Potash Stocks including Intrepid Potash, Inc. (NYSE:IPI), Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (NYSE:POT), and the Mosaic Company(NYSE:MOS) to name the big dogs and big winners. Investors are falling back in love with AG stocks (for the moment) and potash is where its at, but will the trend continue?

Healthcare Investments That Offer Growth and Safety
We’ve had quite a spring rally in the last two months. It’s hard to believe that the S&P 500 has rallied as much as 40% since the panic levels in March, and many individual issues have given investors chances to double or triple their money in just a few short weeks. We are now beginning to hear whispers of economic recovery and new bull markets. (Actually, by definition, this latest rally constitutes a bull market because it exceeds a 20% gain - but don’t try to explain that to investors who are still 41% below the October 2007 high).

Sell in May and Go Away?

Wall Street is littered with cliche statements aimed at imparting subtle wisdom.
- Markets climb a “wall of worry” and usually slide down a “slope of hope.”
- Bulls make money, Bears make money, but pigs get slaughtered
- Cut your losses and let winners run
<form><script type="text/javascript"><!----></script> <script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type="text/javascript"></script></form><>And today’s most applicable statement is to Sell in May and Go Away.
