Juniper Networks Inc. (JNPR) is interested in acquiring Aruba Networks Inc. (ARUN) or Meru Networks, the Financial Times reported Thursday, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter and two analysts.

  The newspaper cited Eric Suppiger, an analyst at Signal Hill, as predicting that Juniper will acquire either Aruba or Meru - but not both - as it lacks a wireless portfolio to compete with Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO).

Juniper continues to show promising earnings growth - just look at the last quarter.  I believe in the infrastructure play of the wireless world we are entering and see continued good growth potential.

In the broader scope, I think the market might just be turning and this is one of my early plays as the portfolio becomes a bit more willing to put money to work.

After having investors, loyalists & fans completely creeped out (for the last 3-4 months) by hitting rock-bottom, this Juniper creeper, seems to have finally found a foothold and is on a steady wrap-around climb.

Healthy Sales & Income growth indicate a full bloom within a year.
