Second wave of homes to reset has started and is slightly larger than the first. First wave of people getting unemployment are at the end of their benifits. Unless the "chosen one" takes notice this round will be much worse than the first and anything to do with housing (already weakened) will tank.

Just doesn't seem like we've learned anything until builders are all struggling for survival. Can't think of a single area of the economy that needs new building inventory, there's a glut of high-end homes, middle class homes, low-end homes, shopping centers, big-box stores, everything. Builders seem to lead downward when markets swing south, this time should be no exception.

Kicking them while they are down, I know, what a cop out... but the charts seem to show more downside ahead...and that last step is a doozy. Personally, I am playing this with spring of '08 puts that should yield a double if my dreams play out. A higher conviction player should go longggggg and bet for the break through of 20. I just don't have it. I fear it really is long in the tooth as an idea and that one day the value calvery will bottom this puppy out--and it won't be where I want it. But hey, I'm a wimp.
