Under current assets they report Cash, cash equivalents and investments in marketable securities of approximately $1,242 million. Under other assets they report $228 of investments in marketable securities. No tangible information on what type of tangible securities, yields, maturities or anything else that an investor could use to come to a rationale conclusion. This is a lack of transparency about liquidity.

NCR Signs with U.S. Airways to Deploy Outdoor Ticketing Kiosks
NCR Corporation (NCR) signed a deal with US Airways (LCC), whereby the later will deploy NCR TouchPort 80, a self-service kiosk that supports passenger check-in at outdoor locations. Around 54 kiosk facilities will be deployed across 15 U.S cities. This will enable passengers to cut the check-in time and, thereby, reduce unnecessary bottlenecks. The equipment is manufactured in such a way that it can withstand rough weather and sharp temperature fluctuation, and has an inbuilt thermoelectric heating and cooling device to ensure proper functioning of the device.
