Today was a very mixed trading day on the economic and news front. Ben Bernanke said that inflation was far higher than he was comfortable with, but he also said he doesn't expect this scenario to become like the one in the 1970s. Oil also slid again to under $123.00 per barrel. Today may have looked better had it not been for some additional downgrade warnings from Moody's on bond insurers.
