It was almost a year ago that I first wrote about Middleby (MIDD), when I described the company as "one of the most exciting companies that no one has ever heard of."  As of the close Thursday, the stock has declined about 20% from 62+ to about 50.

I was looking through the list of top % gainers on the NASDAQ yesterday and came across an 'old favorite' of mine, Middleby Corporation (MIDD), which closed at $123.96, up $12.68 or 11.39% on the day. I do not own any shares of this company nor do I have any options on the stock. <>When I write 'old favorite' I mean that I have looked at this stock previously on this blog.
